1. Who we are

PhotoLog ("we", "us", "our") provides the PhotoLog CAP 741 Tech Log application, a tool for aviation engineers to maintain their personal logbook of maintenance tasks. By creating an account or using the application you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for the activity that happens under your account. Each engineer is expected to keep their own private logbook — sharing your account is not permitted.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use PhotoLog to enter false, misleading or fraudulent maintenance records. CAP 741 logbook entries support real airworthiness decisions; you remain solely responsible for the accuracy of every entry you record.

4. Subscriptions, billing and discount codes

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Discount codes are issued at our discretion, may be limited to specific plans, may have usage caps, and may expire at any time.

5. Privacy & photo extraction

Photo extraction is performed in the cloud, and only when you explicitly tap Extract. We send only that single photo to our analysis provider for a one-off read — it is not used for training and is deleted after processing. See the in-app Privacy & Data page for full details.

6. Limitation of liability

PhotoLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the app, including any regulatory consequences of errors in your logbook entries.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change when we do.
